Omar Donia

After many years in corporate finance and private banking, in 2007, Omar Donia co-founded Contemporary Practices Art Journal (www.contemporarypractices.com), a specialized semi-academic art journal concerned with contemporary art in the Middle East, Iran & Turkey, which he oversees the management of through a mandate while being supervised by an international advisory board. Starting 2011, Omar is assigned as the art Advisor to the world Food Program - United Nations in the Middle East region where is helps in fund raising for the honorable cause of the WFP through curating and organizing art exhibitions and auctions.
