Jareh Das
Jareh Das is working towards a PhD in Curating Art & Science as part
of a collaborative programme between the Department of Geography Royal
Holloway London and The Arts Catalyst.
She recently worked as Artist Liaison at Etemad Gallery, Dubai and
between 2009-2011 worked between London and Middlesbrough at MIMA
(Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art) as part of The Royal College of
Art, London practice-based MA in Curating Contemporary Art. Recently
curated exhibitions include: _Performing Memetics_ at SAVVY
Contemporary, Berlin and _Ubi sunt_, a group exhibition of emerging and
established artists which created an experiential environment in a
disused chapel in South London, England. She has also worked on
curatorial projects at 176 Zabludowicz Collection, ACME Project Space,
London and participated in the Manchester International Festival, 2011.
She has written for various publications in UK and UAE which include
This is Tomorrow, Arty, Harper's Bazaar Art Arabia, The STATE,
Aesthetica, FAD Art News, MOJEH and Wonderland Magazine.
