Tina Sherwell

Tina Sherwell is the Director of The International Academy of Art, Palestine. She currently lives in Jerusalem, and graduated from Goldsmiths College, London and received her Ph.D. from the University of Kent at Canterbury in Image Studies. She is currently the Director of the International Academy of Art Palestine, where she lectures and teaches. Previously she was Programme Leader of Fine Art at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. She was also Executive Director of the Virtual Gallery at Birzeit University, and has worked on the Tate Online with their digital archives. The author of various articles on Palestinian art published in catalogues, journals and books, Sherwell also serves in an advisory role in a range of cultural institutions in Palestine.
